How to program the TREX / Dragon Loader Card

Infinity method
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need:
Infinity USB (Unlimited, Phoenix or standard), no COM port connection is required
Make sure you have the latest updated software for your programmer
(Install software. Click "HELP", "ABOUT", "CHECK FOR UPDATES")

Select card type:
"DragonLoaderCard (PIC)" if your card is a T-Rex Type
"DragonLoaderCard (PIC)" if your card is a Dragon F84A Type
"DragonLoaderCard (AVR)" if your card is a Dragon Fun7 type

Insert the firmware (predatorxxx.dra) into Ext Eeprom1
At the Span Options box click "[2]Reverse span"
Click "Write" to program the card

Insert the programmed card into the T-Rex / Dragon module (Chip facing upwards)
BEFORE inserting CAM into receiver

Select the Common Interface menu on your receiver
and select "Dragon Loader" or "T-Rex Update"
In the next menu, select "Yes, Load module"

The menu will now appear indicating that loading is in progress.
To see the actual progress percentage, select "refresh".

When loading is complete, menu states "Loading successful"
Remove the loader card from the module, and power off/on to reset.

Phoenix Method
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need:
6Mhz Phoenix / Smartmouse compatible card programmer
The dragonload.exe program

If using the 'Infinity USB Phoenix' programmer, DO NOT insert the card until you have entered the Phoenix mode. The autodetect will erase the Dragon Card!

- Connect the card programmer to COM1 or COM2,
  making sure the programmer is set to 6 MHz PHOENIX (not smartmouse) mode
- Execute "dragonload.exe"
- In the "Settings" menu, you can change from COM1 to COM2
- Press "Connect"
- In the file-open dialog that appears, select the firmware you want to load
- The card will now be loaded and the progress bar will start

If you encounter an error, simply "Connect" and try again

Insert the programmed card into the Dragon module BEFORE inserting CAM into receiver 

- Go to the Common Interface menu on the receiver, and select "Dragon Loader"
- In the next menu, select "yes, Load module"

The menu will now appear indicating that loading is in progress.
To see the actual progress percentage, select "refresh"

When loading is complete, menu states "Loading successful"
Remove the loader card from the module, and power off/on to reset
